Photographic
A compact zoom: Ricoh RZ-800, zoom 38-80mm F:4,5-6,4, that I use less and less, in fact not anymore.
A réflex: Canon EOS 500N with objective EF 50mm F:1,8, zoom EF 28-80mm
F:3,5-5,6, zoom EF II 75-300mm F:4-5,6.
Sometimes I add a polarized filter which gives a very dense sky when the
sun is in right angle with regarding to the subject.
A digital compact: Canon IXUS 800 IS, 6 miilion pixels stabilized, equivalent zoom 38-140mm. A very good small camera that I have always with me.
Sometimes, I use "ready to photograph": panoramic, aquatic, Black & White mainly.
Devices are generally loaded with Fuji Superia 200 or 400 ISO for the réflex,
and Superia 400 or 800 ISO for the compact.
I chose Fuji as their rather flattering colour depiction in the case of
the landscapes.
For the réflex, the high sensibilities are to allow me to use the
zoom 300mm in all the conditions, because the speed of closing must be equal
to the focal, is for one 300mm a speed 1/300 of second, with difficulty
practicable with the opening to F:5,6 of my zoom.
For the compact, the choice of the sensibility, generally 400 ISO, allows
me a use the device in almost the situation.
